Margianlized Pianos is a project that consists of three pianos. One of the pianos has no sound, the other one has the same pitch for each octave, and the last one has an irregular temperament.
Most of pianos today are following the twelve-tone equal temperament. With A4 seted to be 440 Hz, people can find all the pith of each key by calculation.
But what if there is a piano that does not follow the “rules that people agrees”? Will it still be a “good piano”? Will it still be music? How hard can it be to play this piano?
If there is someone saying something that different from “people’s cognition”, will it still be heard? Will it still be respected?
How hard can it be to listen to the marginalized voice?
